The ceiling fan is used for many different things including the obvious keeping the room cool as well as suicide, a hat and the possible urban myth of beheadings..

The question is, how is the fan used as a hat?? Well I lied a bit about the hat, I am really talking about the fan falling on somebodys head and seriously hurting them..

The fact is that many people choose to take thier own life by using a ceiling fan. Being a high point in the room the ceiling fan is often a target for people to use when deciding to take their own life.

There is a huge lie that is told about the fan and that is the power it has to behead somebody.. A lot of people will go along with the films they see in which people get beheaded by the fans.. On the programme Mythbusters it was actually proven that the most a ceiling fan can do to you is tear the throat open and that was using the most powerful fan money can buy, even the custom lawnmowe fan couldnt take the head off fully.?

It was likely used in one film then taken and used many many times.. Many people have died because of the fans but there is no-one as of yet that has actually been fully beheaded..

There are more uses for the ceiling fan than faults just like portable humidifiers and Air purifier can actually be more useful to you than deadly. So why not actually go out there and purchase a ceiling fan, they are pretty useful and will not do you any harm, most of the time. But in all honesty these ceiling fans are more useful to you than they are deadly so you have no need to worry if you are thinking about buying one- Or do you?
