Keeping the Park Safe

If you have kids you acknowledge that they love visiting the park at least once or twice a calendar week. One of the main reasons as to why is simply because they love to run around the park freely and burn off some energy, it is also great for parents who get the time to unwind and relax while the kids play. But the park has become ever so different over previous years, people, now more than ever are vandalizing the parks and making them grievous, but take a look below at some of the common equipment that teens are vandalizing and the reasons as to why.

Climbing frame

Climbing frames have to be the number one target in the park. There are so many ways that vandals are making them grievous. They are either setting them alight, which will stop kids from playing on them. They are leaving broken glasses and other sharp bits on them which could hurt kids, or spraying them with graffiti.

Slides

Another major damaged piece of equipment in the park has to be the slide, slides are forever abused and they become totally damaged by people messing around.

Swings

Ultimately the third most damaged bit of equipment has to be the swings; the reason is not directly due to malicious mischief, but alternatively due to the fact that people are using swing that is not mean for their age. These swings are once more meant for kids not full grown adults, so they end up becoming dangerous to use.

There is a way to stop this, as most of this stuff actually happens at night, so as a call of action and to make the parks a much safer place, I do feel that fences should be put around each and every park and locked at nights.
